FIRST TEMPORARY EXHIBIT in the NEW Washakie Museum, 2200 Big Horn Avenue, Worland.

Anywhere from 50 to 100 photographers from around the Big Horn Basin will be featured.

History Exists Before Your Eyes is an exhibit shaped to promote a historically perceptive way of viewing modern subjects (people, places and objects) in the Big Horn Basin through “old eyes”.  The Museum will demonstrate, through historical interpretations, the relationships of the present day photographs to historic people, places, objects, and/or events.

The goal is to inspire the audience to view and discover the history of the Big Horn Basin when they look at people, places, and objects around the area, and then take the time to consider how that history may affect their own life.  This exhibit is made possible with partial funding by the Wyoming Humanities Council.
