Montana Repertory Theatre
Bus Stop
Saturday, February 12, 2011
7:00 p.m.
Worland Middle School Auditorium

The Washakie Museum is excited to bring Montana Repertory Theatre to Worland for the production of Bus Stop. Bus Stop is a classic story of young American romance, set in the 1950s postwar era by playwright William Inge.

A naïve but stubborn cowboy falls in love with a saloon singer (made famous by Marilyn Monroe) and tried to take her away against her will to get married and live on his ranch.  Montana Repertory Theatre claims Inge’s Bus Stop “truly exemplifies America’s postwar awakening and introduces characters that have since become new cultural icons.”

Their performance will be a chance for the community to see Artistic Director, Greg Johnson’s cast put on a high quality theater production.
